Serenade's name fits him appropriately.  He loves to "sing" and "talk"!  One of the cutest things he does is "tattle" on one of the other dogs when they take over his bed at night.  If our other lab lays on his bed he will come over and tattle on him with vocal whispers and whines until you remove the other dog from his bed.  He will then get on his bed and go to sleep.  He is completely potty trained, will wake you up at night if he needs out, but usually sleeps through the night beside our bed.  He does not chew and prefers to be around people.  He is fostered with four other dogs, (from a beagle to a Scottie to 2 other labs) and gets along with ALL.  He even tolerates our cat.  He loves going to the pond for swims, jogging through the neighborhood and easily accepts a bath.  He knows stay, sit and his general manners; loves riding in the car (especially to Baskin Robbins! where they give him a free vanilla cone!)  His current regimen is using a doggie door to go outside, except at night when he sleeps by our bed.  He is not food aggressive and patiently waits while you fix his dinner; he will then sit and be served!  He is a joy to be around and we don't look forward to him leaving.  His foster will be glad to work on any commands/requests the new family might have when adopting him.
