Meet Ruger! He’s about 2 years old and came to us from a local shelter
when his time was up. He has received all of his vaccinations, has been
neutered, and started on monthly preventatives so he can stay healthy.
Ruger isn’t very big and may top out around 60 pounds. Ruger is a bit of a goofball. He loves to play with other dogs. Wrestling is his favorite! He enjoys splashing in the pool and playing with toys. He’s working on his inside manners and hasn’t had any accidents in a few days. He hasn’t had much of a chance to chew things, but he did try and redirected like a pro with an appropriate toy. Ruger is working on his leash manners and is coming along well. We don’t know how he is with cats and would need to be taught to be gentle around small children. Ruger has no trouble clearing a 4 foot fence. In fact, he can climb the horizontal supports on a 6 foot privacy fence. He needs a tall fence he can’t get a footing on or an electric/invisible fence. He crates while his foster family is away and sleeps on a big pillow of his own at night. Get your application in for Ruger today! You don’t want to miss out on this happy boy..
