Pearl is about 3 years old she is around 60 pounds.  She was transferred to us from a small rescue out of Muskogee.  She was an owner surrender. Her original owner died and the daughter was unable to keep dogs per her landlord.  Her companion was a chocolate lab so we think the babies are all lab - they certainly look it.  Pearl is very sweet and right now won't get far from the puppies.  She is house broken, crate trained, leash trained and knows basic commands: sit, down, shake.  She is not food aggressive and is also gentle when taking treats.  She has been left uncrated in the house and does fine, though she will sleep on the couch. She is fine with cats and good with other dogs though she is protective of the puppies around other dogs.  Check out her puppies Opal and Jett.  They have been weaned per vets orders so she is now available for adoption.  She had a really nice thick coat, but due to hormonal changes, she is blowing her coat (shedding).  She is on a bath every 5 days regimen and her coat will thicken up as her milk dries up and her hormones level out. She will be spayed as soon as that happens.
