Mesa , AKA: Hope, is a six year old female black Lab.  She is very obedient and knows sit, shake, down, fetch.  She is house trained & safe to leave in the house unattended.  She loves to play tug of war with her rope and continually will find things to bring you to show you she is a retriever. She prances around with her stuffed toy, rope, and ball. Mesa is very athletic & few dogs can beat her to a ball or frisbee when we go to the park.  She is fast & focused.

Mesa is very affectionate & loves to curl up with her people.  She learns very quickly. I gave her a nice llBean Dog Bed to lay on. I could point to it & tell he to go "lay down on your bed" and she will immediately go over & curl up.

Mesa  is afraid of thunderstorms. She will be better than Doppler in predicting their arrival. She becomes more affectionate and pants a bit.  She wants to be beside her people when the lightning & thunder starts. She is doing very well & improving daily. She just becomes a velcro girl when the boomers start.

Mesa is a great Lab that is looking for someone to keep their toes warm. She is a sweetheart.

Also Mesa could do very well in agility if someone is looking for a dog to become involved in agility. Do not let her age deter her adoption. She is at a perfect age for a Lab.
