Bubba is a 12-year old lab who was surrendered to a local kill shelter along with his "sister" Pebbles.  The family that originally surrendered Bubba told the shelter that their children had developed allergies to the dogs.  We later found out that this was not true.  Bubba was surrendered, along with Pebbles, so that the family could purchase a new puppy for the kids.  Lab Rescue could not stand the idea of these two loving pets not having a chance to find a new forever home.

Bubba is a large lab, weighing over 100 pounds.  But he is as sweet as he can be.  He is housebroken, crate trained, loves car rides, gets along with all dogs, kids and people and does not dig or chew.  How perfect can you get.  He is very sweet and calm in the house, where he much prefers to stay.  Bubba was thoroughly checked out by our Lab Rescue vet and was found to be in excellent health.  Please come out and meet this gentleman and give him a chance to find a new forever home that prefers him to a puppy.
