Meet Chewy!!  5 months old and the sweetest little boy you’ve ever met!  Very easy going, not overly active like most puppies and EXTREMELY smart!  He has learned sit and loves to play fetch - actually brings the ball right back to you.  Chewy is submissive to other dogs and loves everyone!  He’s learning to walk on a leash, but still needs some training.  Could be a good hunting dog as I’ve seen him sniff out balls around the house or looking for a running partner – he would be good at that too.  Chewy is an all around good puppy and will only get better as he gets older.   If you notice the drooping of his eyelids or stitches, he was diagnosed with Entropion (rolling of the eyelid).  This caused his eyelashes and eyelid to rub on his eyeball, very irritating to say the least.  Lab Rescue paid for his surgery to have this corrected, so he is now a happy puppy.  The drooping will gradually go away as his body grows.   Chew is crate trained, neutered and up to date on shots – he’s ready to go to his forever home.  Fill out your application soon, this little guy will not be around long.
