Hollis is a wonderful 7 yr old
yellow male who is a true rescue in every sense of the
word. He weighed less than 30 pounds when he was rescued.
Yes, that's less than half his normal body weight. As you
can see from his pictures, he is back to a more normal
weight for an adult labbie. Well, he's a little more than
normal weight now. Despite his horrendous treatment, he
remains a very sweet loving boy. He loves people and other
dogs.
Hollis is looking for a
second chance at life. Do you have
room in your heart for this sweet boy?
Unfortunately,
Hollis has tested positive for Heartworms. Heartworms are
preventable, all it takes is a pill given by the human
caretaker once a month to the dog. The treatment to
clear the dog of the worms is costly and hard on the dogs.
Lab Rescue does not feel this is a reason to euthanize a dog
and chooses to treat them, any donations would be
appreciated. He will be undergoing treatment.
