I came to LR from the Nowata shelter.  Hi! My name is Bernstein, but my foster family calls me Bernie. I'm a big, goofy guy around 2 yrs old. I came from a shelter when my time was up, I was so HAPPY when I went to a foster home where I could run and play. After all, I'm still pretty much a pup with lots of energy! My foster family tells me I'm a sweet boy and I like everyone I meet, even kids. Right now I live with other dogs, we get along fine, but sometimes I am too much for the older dog, she just doesn't like to play as much as I do. I know how to "sit", I'm okay on a leash, and I'm learning to potty outside. If you take me out often there won't be an problems. I like my crate and that's where I sleep at night, but I spend most of the day playing outside with my foster sisters. I have pretty good inside manners for a young guy, and I'm getting better every day. My foster home has lots of toys and that keeps me from chewing things I shouldn't. I like to play fetch and I would love to live with someone who would spend lots of time playing with me. I think going to the lake and camping sound like a fun time! I've been told I'm a smart boy and obedience classes sound like something I would like. If chocolate is your thing, come meet me, I'm as sweet as it gets!
