Meet Sonny. He is a full blood Australian shepherd. Sonny has registration papers with ASCA and AKC but he will not be registered and the papers will not go with him. He is now 9 wks old and ready for his new home.  Before adopting Sonny you should read up about Australian shepherds.  They are not couch potatoes. They require a job and exercise. Sonny has awesome herding bloodlines and his perfect home would be a ranch where he could work livestock or with a very active family that jogs or something.  Sonny was the result of an accidental breeding and the owner just wants to find a great home for him. He was the only pup so she relinquished him to rescue so we could find that perfect home.  He is not housetrained yet but working on it, he is crate trained and has had his first round of shots. He will be neutered by the rescue when he is old enough so he will not be adopted out of state.  Sonny has two blue eyes and his coloring is called red merle. His adoption fee is $250.00. He is not a lab rescue dog but to adopt him fill out the adoption application put Sonny's name on it and they will forward it to the foster.     Isn't he the cutest thing ever!!!!
