Hi! I’m Brinkley. I’m about 2 years old and weigh about 50 pounds. I came to Lab Rescue after they saved me from a puppy mill in Missouri. I am spayed, UTD on all my vaccinations and preventatives, housebroken and crate trained. When I came to Lab Rescue, I had a skin condition that has now received the all clear.

I’m a very sweet girl. I do great on the leash and LOVE to ride in the car. My foster mom says I have pretty good inside manners but I do like to play with paper and other things I am not supposed to have so she crates me when she goes to work. I spent most of my life locked up at the puppy mill so I never learned the rules when I was a pup. I do OK now, but sometimes my excitement gets the best of me. I’m really smart and eager to learn so an obedience class might be fun.

I like to play with the cat that lives here and love to run around with kids. I would do best with older kids though. I would love to have another dog to play with but sometimes I like to be the boss dog. I’ll sleep in your bed if you’ll let me, but otherwise I’m fine on the dog bed in my crate. I shouldn’t be left outside for too long because I don’t have a very thick coat to protect me from the elements.
