Brew is a 5 year old male that is as sweet and as good as they come. He is excellent in the house around the kids and other animals. He absolutely loves to lay at your feet. He is as gentle as they come. He is house and crate trained but doesn't need the crate. He sleeps freely on the floor and doesn't get on furniture unless asked to. He does need a yard with a 6' privacy fence because he can climb a chain link fence.

Brew has tested positive for Heartworms. Heartworms are preventable, all it takes is a pill given by the human caretaker once a month to the dog.  The treatment to clear the dog of the worms is costly and hard on the dogs.  Lab Rescue does not feel this is a reason to euthanize a dog and chooses to treat them, any donations would be appreciated.
