Hi! My name is Timber, and I’m about nine months old. The nice people at Lab Rescue picked me up from the shelter before my time was up. I don’t know what that means, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it. I don’t like to talk about my life before that, because someone was really mean to me. Loud noises and raised voices still scare me, and remind me of what happened before.
My foster family says I’m very laid back and grown up for such a young boy. I get along well with all my foster brothers and sisters, and we play tag and wrestle in the yard. In the house I’m very calm and just want to snuggle with the people. I sleep by the people bed at night, and have yet to chew anything, but my fosters think that is a fluke. I like toys and will chew on those given the opportunity. I’m not sure what treats are yet, but I’m figuring it out really fast.
My foster family says I’m very interested in their cats, but not aggressive. I’m working on crating, and still have to tell you I’m unhappy about it when I’m first crated. I’ve only had one accident in the house, but it was a really scary storm outside, so they don’t blame me. The people I live with say I need a sandwich because I’m so skinny, but they won’t actually give me one, no matter how much I beg. They are trying to help me stop begging, but people food smells sooooo good.
My foster family thinks I’d fit well in an active home, but would be equally good as a walking/jogging buddy or couch potato. Please come out and visit me! I’d love to lean on your leg and have you scratch my ears!
