Meet Duchess. She's a sweet and playful 7 month old chocolate girl. She came to us from a local shelter. She weighs less than 50 pounds and has the cutest little white stripe on her chest. Duchess is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines and preventatives.
Duchess is a happy young girl! She already knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lie down, but at times her youthful excitement gets the best of her. A puppy class or two wouldn't hurt. She has not had any accidents in the house and doesn't dig. Like all young labbies, keeping plenty of durable toys around helps to curb the inappropriate chewing (we keep shoes and such put away, just in case). She would do great with a playmate or two, but would be fine as an only dog also with a lot of playtime to get the wiggles out. Duchess crates nicely indoors while we're away and sleeps in her crate in my room at night. She has been fine around cats and the kids she's met. She would have to be watched around little ones though, as her excitement could knock them down. Come meet sweet Duchess at our next event!
