Meet Dragon. He's your typical, happy 10 month old labbie. We got him from PAWS in Muskogee. He was an owner surrender to them--not because the people didn't want him but they had just moved from Washington State and had no home here. He likes cats and other dogs--kids are fine but he's probably too big for the little ones--he doesn't know his own size. We are working on regular manners--he thinks he is a lap dog. He hasn't had any accidents inside. After returning from the outside he usually trots around all the rooms checking things out right when you let him in and then settles on a place to take a load off. He's absolutely beautiful. He's the perfect addition to any family.
Not only would he be a great family member, but he would also make a good hunting partner. He's just at the right age to start his training. The reason I suggest this is because every dog on his pedigree has some field trial title--all the way to National Field Trial Champions to Master Hunter titles (the most difficult one to get). He retrieves as long as you will throw the ball, and drops it right at your feet every time.
Either way, if you are looking for a family pet or are looking for a hunting buddy, he would be happy being either--just as long as he gets love and attention.
