Meet Cricket. She was saved from the shelter with minutes to spare. She has obviously had a litter very recently. She is about 2 yrs. old and weighs 55 lbs--on the smaller side for a labbie but she is not too much underweight. She should probably be 60 lbs--the perfect size! She is as sweet as she can be. It was hard to get pics of her standing up. She just wanted to roll over on her back! She's very submissive and calm but once all the other dogs get playing she will join in. She is housebroken and past all the annoying puppy stuff. She is also very quiet. She likes to lay by your side but raises up for the occasional pat. She gets very excited when it is time to go for a walk. She has never jumped and is great with kids (even the little ones), cats and other dogs. She is a special little girl and if it weren't for the kind donations we have received, she wouldn't be here. You see, Cricket is heartworm positive. She has started her treatment and will be ready to go soon so get your app in because when she is ready, she will be gone in a second!!
We can't save these neglected heartworm positive dogs without your help. We have had a lot of donations but still not quite enough to cover her treatment. Please help us so we can continue to save Cricket and other dogs in her situation.
UPDATE - Cricket has completed her heartworm treatment. She is now heartworm free and available for adoption!
