Are you looking for a dog that will fit in with your active lifestyle?  Look no further.  Soda Pop is a 2 year old male who is active and lively.  He loves life and his tail doesn't stop wagging.  He would love to run with you, or go to the lake.  He wants to be with his humans and do whatever they are doing.
Soda Pop is a true rescue.  He was saved from a local shelter the day before his time was up.  He came to Lab Rescue in poor condition.  His coat was in desperate need of grooming.  He's getting brushed regularly and you can see from his pictures that he will be a gorgeous dark chocolate color.  He's 15-20 pounds underweight and we're working on putting weight back on him.  He should be 70-75 pounds when he gets to up to his normal weight.
He is so happy to get a second chance at life.  He was very anxious and excited at first, but he is now calming down and settling nicely into his new foster home.  Soda Pop is now working on his manners.  He is housebroken, crate trained, and knows sit.  We're now working on other basic skills.  He's very toy motivated, so training should be easy for him.  He'd probably be better with older children, since he doesn't realize how big he is and might accidentally knock smaller children over.

UPDATE: Soda Pop has gained over 10 pounds now, and his coat is much improved.  He's turning into quite a handsome boy.  He's got tons of personality.  His goofy good natured grin will definitely win your heart.
