Hi, I'm Kirk.  My big brother, Spock, and I were saved from the shelter right when our time was up.  I'm about 2 years old and weigh about 65 pounds.  I've been "fixed", given all my shots, and I'm on heartworm preventative.
I'm a typical 2 year old lab.  My foster mom says she thinks I've never been inside the house because I have some work to do on my indoor manners.  I am working on my crate training and house training.  I do ok on a leash but I just want to run and play and see everything.  I'm cat and kid friendly and would do great in a home with older children because sometimes I forget that I'm all grown up.  I would do best in a home that already has dogs or with a family that is willing to adopt my brother, Spock, also because if I get bored I tend to be mischievous.  When I'm properly entertained I'm just a blast to have around.
UPDATE: My foster mom wanted to post a quick update because I've come a long way in a short time.  I'm now crate trained and haven't had an accident in the house in over 2 weeks! I will also sit to wait for you to put my food bowl down and I don't dig in the yard.  Please come see me and my brother at the next event.
