Serenade is a wonderful black male lab, approximately 2 l/2 to 3 years old.  He loves children and is most comfortable being around people.  He gets along well with his foster's 3 other dogs (2 labs and a beagle).  He does take some adjustment upon meeting new dogs.  It takes him about 10-15 minutes to warm up to a new dog, but then they are best friends.  It's just the initial meeting that makes him nervous.  He tolerates cats.  He loves going to his foster's farm and running and swimming in the pond.  He doesn't chase the horses and respects their presence.  Serenade is totally housebroken, has never gone in the house.  In fact, if he does have to go out at night he will come to the bedside and "talk" to you until you let him out.  We have only had to do this a couple of times.  Otherwise, he sleeps through the night at the foot of our bed or in his doggie bed.  He has never chewed anything that wasn't his to chew.  He has very good table manners and will sit and be served.  He is not food aggressive with the other dogs and patiently waits his turn.  This foster would be willing to acclimate him to his new home if there are new dogs, as the initial meeting with other dogs is his only problem at this point.
