Hi!  I'm Colorado! My little buddy, Boulder, and I turned up at the Tulsa shelter a few weeks ago.  The nice folks at Lab Rescue decided to take us home together hoping a nice family might be looking for a package deal.  We make a great team!
I'm about 3 years old and weigh almost 80 pounds.  I've been "fixed" and am waiting on my last round of shots to get me all caught up.  I got into a bit of a tangle with a chain link fence and have some scratches on the back of my neck but the doctor checked them out and they've healed nicely.
I've been a very good boy so far.  I don't potty in the house and haven't chewed anything I'm not supposed to.  And I don't need a darn crate.  A regular ol' tennis ball is no match for me.  I much prefer the toys that last longer.  I will play fetch till your arm is tired and just hiding my ball won't work when you're done.  I'll bring you another toy or my blanket.  I just want to play, play, play.  I also know how to sit, shake, and wait.
I am cat friendly too.  The kitty at my foster home likes to play with me and I chase him through the house.  But I also know when it's time to settle down and find a place to lay down and just get my hugs.  If you rub my belly I'll be your best friend.  My foster mom says I'd make a good romping through the woods buddy.  I'd do well with some additional training too!  I'm pretty smart and very attentive-especially if you're the holder of the treat!
I'd do best in a home with older children.  Sometimes I forget how big I am.  I do pretty good on the leash too, I just get so darn excited!
