Rembrandt is a sweet 1 year old black lab. He loves people, playing, eating, and water, in that order. He would make a wonderful companion and family dog. He's a smaller lab. He is a bit underweight right now, but we're working on that. He's going to be quite handsome when he fills out. His eyes and labbie smile will just melt your heart.
Rembrandt is house broken and crate trained. He is learning to use a doggie door. He gets along well with other dogs. And he just loves to play. As long as there is a human and a toy around, he is in doggie paradise. But don't worry, he would also love to lay at your feet when it's time to relax for the evening. He doesn't pull much on leash, but he does tend to meander. We're working on that.
Rembrandt is still in the puppy phase, so training is a must to help him become the wonderful K9 citizen he has the potential to be. He has had some training already. He does know some of the basics.

Update:
Rembrandt is a fantastic boy! He has really settled down and become a wonderful member of our pack. He is now over most of the "stupid puppy tricks" that make most people shy away from adopting a puppy or young adult labbie. He has gained some much needed weight. He will probably be around 70 pounds when he fills out. He is great around kids, even small ones. He's been around kids as young as 2 and was very calm, even when one tried to climb on him. And what a little Romeo he is! He just loves to snuggle and give kisses.
