Meet Flame. She's a new addition to our program that we were able to save from the shelter. We don't know much about her yet, but will once she goes into foster care.
We do know that she's around 12 - 18 months old and is good around other dogs. She's fairly active, but that's to be expected from a young girl.
Stay tuned for more information on her.
Update 10/16/2006: Flame has been in foster for a week now and seems to
be doing well. She is cat friendly, the only problem is
when our cats decide to play and run up and down the hallway
Flame wants to chase after them and play also. She is great
with other dogs, and plays well with others her own size.
She appears to have been potty trained and has been crated
but really would rather be out of the crate. She is calm for
her age but does need some obedience work off and on the leash.
She loves to find a blanket or rug to lie on, snuggle up, and fall
fast asleep. I think she would do well with children of any
size she just seems to love them; at one of the events we
attended a young girl sat down on the ground and Flame just
hugged and kissed her and finally settled down for a little
nap in her lap. So if you are looking for a beautiful redhead with
golden eyes and with a great personality then Flame is the girl
for you. She won't last so get that application filled out and
sent in right away.
