Karat came to us from a family that loved him very much, but due to recent changes in their life they could not keep him. He is a beautiful 3 year old golden boy who has been very well cared for. Karat is a very sweet, loving dog. He was born on Valentine's Day so it comes naturally to him.
Karat is a great dog. He is housebroken, crate trained, and has had training classes, so he knows all the basic commands. And he will lay quitely near the table during meals, no begging. He rides well in the car and walks well on leash. He likes other dogs and loves kids. He would make a perfect family pet.
He is in perfect health except for arthritis in one of his knees. But don't let that stop you from considering adopting this wonderful guy. An aspirin a day does the trick for it. With moderate exercise, he will do well.
