Big Tex is an 11-year young, large yellow lab that was returned to us when his owner could no longer care for him.  He is housebroken, well-behaved in the house, gets along very well with other dogs and kids.  He loves to go on walks and does very well on the leash.  He also rides beautifully in the car.  He is an inside dog and can be left alone in the house.  He is something of a counter-surfer if there is food involved, however, so hide your edibles and he will be fine.  He has not torn up anything in my house but he did find the candy one day!   He has the energy level of a younger dog and is very healthy.  He bonds very quickly and is quite a lover.  Come meet this gentleman and you will fall in love.
