Update:  Mitzi is 80 pounds of solid Labrador, no trimming necessary.  She is wonderful in the home, with kids and all dogs she has met.  She walks on the lead very nicely as if she has some training.  She knows sit and lay down, does not get on the furniture, loads up great into the SUV/Car and her crate when needed, and we believe is housetrained - no accidents so far. She is dewclaw removed, has a perfect otter tail, and a polite 3-4 yr old lady. This girl is a gem!  If you want the picture perfect Labrador, the constant and lifetime companion, and true lab temperament she is your girl.
