FOLLOW-UP PHONE CONTACT In 1999, Labrador Rescue placed over 300 dogs. Our success is due to the follow-up contact we keep with our adopting families. We are looking for caring people who can make a few calls per month to check on the dogs we have placed. If a training issue has arisen, we can intervene before it becomes a problem. If you can help, please contact Lab Rescue .
SHELTER VISITOR Our goal is to have every major area in Oklahoma represented. You can help by volunteering to visit a shelter in your area when we are contacted about a dog. We need volunteers who are willing to spend some time at the shelter getting to know the dog or sometimes simply confirming that the dog is indeed purebred and of good temperment.
TRANSPORTATION VOLUNTEER Dogs need to be shuttled throughout the state to their foster homes and adopting families. We can provide a transportation crate when needed.
