Dog of the Month: Kira
Kira is a beautiful 18 month
old lab mix. She had a rough start in
life, but has made great progress and
continues to do so. Kira is house
broken and crate trained. She knows
"sit", "down" and "wait." She has a
lot of energy and loves to run, play,
and bark happily at the neighbor dogs.
She lives with a 4 year old male dog.
Kira enjoys his company and has
learned a lot from him. It would be a
blessing for Kira for there to be
another dog in her forever family!
When her day is over, Kira
sleeps peacefully all night long. She
likes her dogbed or a soft blanket on
the floor.
Her foster family is really Kira's
first family and she trusts them to
introduce her to new things and
situations, one step at a time.
Kira has so much love to give!
She will thrive with a family that can
provide structure and help her
continue to build confidence. She is
waiting and she is smiling!
